My experience with 1st Class Tile and Flooring was very disappointing. My husband and I were looking for high quality tiling, and paid a premium for tiles “made in Italy”; we had specifically stated that we did not want tiles made in China. We paid an $800 deposit on the order then the $800 balance upon delivery. We were told that we did not need spacers because the tiles came with built-in nibs to space them out as you go. When we opened the first box, we discovered that not only did they not have nibs, but they were stamped “made in China” on the back of every tile. They were not the same tiles we were shown in the showroom. I called to complain and left a message on voicemail, no one ever responded. We had an outstanding balance of $38 which they billed us through the mail. After two weeks of sending the bill they had the nerve to call and ask where their money was; even though they had never addressed my initial complaint. My recommendation is this: if you want high-quality tile, go somewhere else; if you don’t care, go to Lowes.
